Everything you need to know for Baptism Sunday.
We are so happy to be celebrating your baptism with you this Sunday! We love seeing such big, bold faith, and we're excited to begin a new future with you in our family!
Here's what you need to know for Sunday:
You will need to arrive by 9:30am on Baptism Sunday. We will meet by the Baptism Sunday banners in the lobby to walk through the service order and answer questions.
When it is time for you to be baptized during the service, you will be asked 3 questions. You only have to answer the pastor baptizing you, and don't have to worry about speaking to the audience.
Do you understand why you are being baptized?
Do you believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God?
Do you claim Jesus as your King and Savior?
A dark t-shirt will be provided for you to wear during your baptism. We suggest that you bring:
Shorts or jeans for the baptism
Flip-flops or slip-ons for the walk between restrooms and baptism
A change of outer- and under-clothes
Any toiletries you might require
A plastic bag for wet clothes
