Service logistics information
Service begins at 10am.
Speakers usually have the floor by 10:40am.
A 35-45min sermon would be a typical duration.
You will be using a handheld microphone.
There is no clock in the sanctuary.
Water or other drink of your choice will be provided. (non-Alcoholic in honor of all our conservative friends).
Dress code for services is relaxed, upscale casual. Nice jeans and a casual shirt are not uncommon for speakers. You’re welcome to peek into a past service to gauge the feel: City Grace YouTube Channel.
We typically end service with a call to prayer, and you are free to end your message however you are comfortable. Please share with your Service Host how you anticipate ending your message. Any themes you can share for closing music would be helpful.
Need to send a presentation file?
Our tech team can display PowerPoint and Keynote files on our projection system. Additionally, we offer scripture display support using the following versions only: KJV, NKJV, NIV, NLT.
Keynote is currently the only option we have with remote control. If you have a PowerPoint file or would prefer not to drive your presentation, our techs can advance slides with your direction during the sermon. They’re actually pretty good at it with a simple pre-service check-in. :)
Please arrive by 9:30am to go over any presentation needs with the techs.
If you have a file to share, you can use the button below to upload it directly to our tech Dropbox folder.
What to expect before your visit
A member of our Pastoral team will serve as Service Host for your visit.
They will call you the Monday before your visit to introduce themselves, run through the visit, and answer any questions you might have.
Your children are welcome to visit our Kids Experience. Families stay together during the worship part of service before kids are excused before the sermon to head to the Kids Experience. Your Service Host will help you get your kids checked-in when you arrive on Sunday, and you are welcome to pre-Register them at this link to save some time.
When you arrive on sunday
Your Service Host will meet you in the lobby and help get kids checked-in for the Kids Experience. They will also help your family find seating in the sanctuary.
Your Service Host will be able to connect you with the Tech Team if that is needed.
Your Service Host will make sure to introduce you to the Worship Leader to discuss post-message directions.
We have an office available for any pre-service preparation space you might need.
What to expect during service
You will be seated along with your Service Host during worship.
After worship the Service Host will address the congregation, make announcements and dismiss kids to the Kids Experience.
When the kids exit, please make your way to the front area near the stage.
The Service Host will introduce you and invite you to take the pulpit.
Preach!
Hand the service back to the Service Host in whatever way you’ve collaborated.
Post-service
After service you and your family are welcome to mingle in the lobby with other attenders and the Service Host, or you are welcome to rally together in the sanctuary for some decompressing.
The Service Host will probably spend a few minutes in the lobby talking with attenders, so you are welcome to stand with them if you’re not sure where to go.
Your Service Host would love to host you and your family for lunch if you' are available.
